Candied in syrup, stem ginger is a nifty little jar to keep in the cupboard for baking. Use the stem peices by chopping them up and adding them into your cakes and cookies, but you can also use the syrup to flavour your icings, use as a glaze, or even use it to sweeten your hot drinks.
