Biscuit Week

Biscuit - ‘a small baked unleavened cake, typically crisp, flat, and sweet.’ But if you were to add a British twist to it biscuit (at least a suitable biscuit) must be robust enough to survive two dunks in a cup of tea.

Biscuits bring the world toge ther, and there are so many different variations of the biscuit it’s hard these days to define what a biscuit is and what a cake is (see the jaffa CAKE debate if you don’t know what we mean). Americans call them cookies, we call cookies something completely different, but you get the gist of it.

As long as you find them in the biscuit isle, it is more than likely some form of biscuit. So here at Forksake we hosted our own ‘Bake Off’ and the photos used in this blog post is what the staff here at Forksake created!
